One important goal of AAS267 is to train students in historical methodology, especially in the techniques of research, writing, interpretation, and criticism. Consequently, the production and criticism of reserach papers is a key component of this course.

Over the course of the semester, each student will reserach, write, refine, present, defend, and revise a research paper.
