Modern Politics: Atlanta and Southern Politics

Modern Politics is a major collecting area for MARBL, and this guide will provide a shortcut to important resources about modern politics, civil rights, school desegregation, and more.

Atlanta and Southern Politics Collections

This research guide includes information about influential individuals and organizations who participated in Atlanta and/or Southern politics.  Although some collections begin in the late-19th Century, the collections included in this guide are geared toward the modern era.  Although this is not meant to be a complete compilation of all Atlanta and Southern Politics collections, it is designed to assist researchers in discovering major actors and movements in this collecting area.
