Use DiscoverE for locating books, web sites, journal titles, etc. pn your topic. Do NOT use DiscoverE for searching for journal articles!! Remember, you have access to Interlibrary Loan and to several other Atlanta-area libraries.

    Where are the Books in the Stacks?

    The most common location for titles on foreign government and comparative politics are:

    • JL is primarily comprised of the Americas
    • JN is primarily composed of Europe (East and West)
    • JQ focuses on Asia, Africa, Australia, and Oceania

    However, you may also find many titles in the D-F range, which are dedicated more to area studies (history, culture, politics, and social conditions)

    • D-DR focuses primarily on Europe
    • DS-DU focuses primarily on Asia, Africa, and Oceania
    • E and F are for United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean

    Most of these titles can be located on the 7th or 8th floors.
