Dance Research Guide: Citing Your Sources

Citing Your Sources

The library's Citing Your Sources guide provides some general information about why you should cite your sources, plagiarism, and how to avoid common mistakes, as well as a list of style manuals.

Dance historians and writers often use the Chicago Manual of Style in preparing their footnotes, bibliographies, etc. However, for each class, you should check with your professor to see which style manual you are expected to use for your papers.
