WorldCat Q&A

Here are some Questions and Answers based on user experience.  Use the feedback box to the right to submit your questions.

  1. Why does the link from a WorldCat record to an alleged "edition" in Emory sometimes come up empty?  Worldcat apparently uses a very broad definition of "edition" and it becomes especially misleading when there are multiple works based on a common title, e.g., the Bible.  In such cases, try clicking "Show libraries holding just this edition ..."  If Emory still shows up in the results and the link from WorldCat or your own search in EUCLID fails to find the same title, ask the Reference Desk.
