Locating Books

discoverE is the main search interface for locating items in Emory's libraries and digital repositories.  It also offers an Articles tab where you can search several databases at once for journal articles.  It will display your search results in Chinese wen you search Chinese materials, for example, if you would like to find materials on comtemporary Chinese Literature, simply type:

中国当代文学

It will display all the materials that we have in Chinese on that topic.

EUCLID
EUCLID is Emory's online library catalog.  Everything in EUCLID is discoverable in discoverE, but you may continue to search
EUCLID if you prefer. With Unicode, you can now search EUCLID in Chinese as well.  For example, if you are interested in finding materials in Chinese literature, simply type:

中国文学

then choose "Subject" to search, the search results will be all displayed in Chinese for Chinese language materials.

Interlibrary Use

You can check out books from Georgia Tech, Georgia State, and the University of Georgia with your Emory ID card. These institutions may have the materials you need for your research.  You may be able to checkout books from other local college/university libraries, as well.  An interlibrary use card may be required; these are available at the
