Environmental Monitoring

The Preservation Office is responsible for monitoring the environmental conditions in all the Emory libraries. Dataloggers are used to collect temperature, relative humidity, and light level data, which are then analyzed and shared with both library and campus facilities staff in order to ensure that conditions appropriate for the storage of book and paper materials are maintained.
