Research, data, resources on issues of gender across a number of areas.  Produce the journal Gender & Society

Center for American Women and Politics

Center maintained at Rutgers University with a substantial amount of information on women and the US political process, both at the federal and legislative levels. You can find numerous reports, facts and figures on women in politics. Many publications are available online or can be ordered directly from the CAWP. Of particular use are the Factsheets with current information on women in state and federal politics.

Center for Women in Government and Civil Society  

Center at SUNY, Albany that focuses on the role of women in positions of political power. Of particular interest is the Women's Leadership Profile 2004 which studies trends in women's political leadership across the country.
