Teaching Assistant Training and Teaching Opportunity

Library Instruction and Research Assistance

  • Consider structuring your course around a librarian-assisted research project. The librarian can visit your class at critical points to give hands-on assistance with the project. For an example of this process, read this Inside Higher Ed article about a team-taught course at the University of Massachusetts.
  • Let a librarian assist your students with research by participating via social media or in your Blackboard course.
  • Request materials for your research and teaching from your subject librarian.
