PHIL100 Basic Problems in Philosophy: Research Tools

This course surveys basic problems in philosophy, such as questions concerning truth, knowledge, justice, beauty, and the good.



Provides searchable full-text access to back files of key scholarly journals in many fields - Philosophy in general.


The Woodruff Library offers many tools that can help you with your research.  Please examine these tools and consult the appropriate library guide in order to better use each tool.

1) ZOTERO is a Firefox addon that collects, manages, and cites research sources. 

2) ENDNOTE is a database program for managing bibliographic citations.

3) LIBX is a browser plug-in that provides direct access to Emory University Library resources.  It features: Toolbar and right-click context menu to search through discoverE, Databases@Emory, and eJournals@Emory.  Simply download through link in LibX LibGuide.
