Mission Statements

Outreach & Education Team and Subject Librarians

The instructional mission of the Robert W. Woodruff Library is to encourage and enable effective lifelong use of information. We support the educational mission of Emory University and encourage a collaborative relationship between the library instructor and teaching faculty to meet curricular and user needs.  Instructional services are provided through point-of-use, course-related, and web-based instruction and are assessed for improvement.    (revised 2011)
