Research Assignment 1
From your assignment...
- Find an article related to psychology in a mainstream publication (e.g. The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, Newsweek, etc.). The article must have been published in the last 12 months.
The news item must refer to some scientific research relating to the topic of psychology...it should indicate that the article is based on some actual scientific work, published in a scientific journal or reported at a scientific meeting. Often articles wil refer to the scientists who did the work by name and institution.
- Print out the article to turn in with your written work.
- Using the information presented on pg. 100-101 of your textbook, and the information presented in our class discussion, prepare a one-paragraph critique of how the article presents the finding.
