Equipment Collections at Emory

The Audio/Visuals Collection at the Roberts W. Woodruff Library's Music and Media Library is a pool of audio visuals equipment, readily available for the Emory community.

Borrowing Information

This equipment may be checked out for one week at a time from the Music and Media desk.

These items cannot be renewed.

Overdue fines are $5.00 per day.

Analog Microphones:


 

Shure SM58 Microphone

The SM58 is your all purpose analog mic. Use this mic with your own sound board to mix vocal and instrumental music or check them out along with a PA system from the DUC for your next live event.

Each handheld microphone comes with a 25' XLR audio cable. This cable is designed for use with sound boards and PA systems.

Looking for a Public Address (PA) system and / or projection screen?

Azden Wireless Lavalier Microphone

Azden wireless mics are clip-on lav mics containing a beltpack with mic (the transmitter) and a receiver. Ideal for interviews and lectures. These mics accompany the HD Flash video cameras, the Zoom H1 field recorders, Marantz DAR and any other computer or recording device with a 3.5mm (headphone jack) audio input.

Each wireless microphone comes with a wireless transmitter, lavalier microphone, clip, wireless receiver and accompanying 3.5mm audio cable, a belt clip, and a carrying case.

PZM Microphone

PZM mics are used to capture full-room sound. Ideal for recording classroom discussion, or to capture a meeting around a conference table.  These mics are ideal for use with the HD Flash video cameras, the Zoom H1 field recorders, Marantz DAR, or any other computer or recording device with a 3.5mm (headphone jack) audio input.

Each PZM microphone comes with the microphone and cord, a base mounting plate, AAA battery, and a carrying case.

Revolabs Wireless Lavalier Microphone

Revolabs wireless USB mics are clip-on lav mics ideal for capturing one speaker in a class capture or webconferencing scenario via a personal computer.

Please note: The wireless mics do need to be charged before use, so plan ahead.
