2014 Emory Libraries Survey--Deadline Extended to March 10!

For the 8th consecutive year, the Libraries are conducting a survey of faculty, graduate students, and undergrads, to better understand your use of the libraries. You will be asked to provide information on your use of online library collections and library buildings. We also want to better understand your use of ebooks and want to hear if some of the website improvements over the past year have made a difference for you!

The survey is conducted on behalf of the Libraries by the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness. Students and faculty will receive an email requesting participation in the survey and containing a unique link to the survey. Please take the survey from this link, because that link allows us to be sure that we have accurate information on survey completion. For your convenience, we are also providing an open link through which you can take the survey, but please complete the survey only once!

You have the opportunity to contribute to providing new University Librarian Yolanda Cooper with a picture of the Emory community that is current and straight from our users! Please take advantage of that opportunity!

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey to help us know how we are doing and how we can improve. Last year, survey results led to changes that we hope have improved your satisfaction. We made it a priority to improve websites and the library catalog, addressed concerns about cleanliness of library computer keyboards, and made changes to policies relating to delivery of items requested from the Storage Library.

Incentives will be offered for students completing the survey, but you do not have to complete the survey to be eligible. This year's incentives include an iPad mini and a Kindle HD tablet.  If you wish to be entered in the drawing for the incentives without completing the survey, please send an email with your request to Susan Bailey, Library Assessment Coordinator, at

Thank you for helping us revise our services and collections to better serve your teaching and research needs!
